Mary Ainscough was the daughter of James Ainscough (b. 1843) and Mary Ann Waring. In 1891 she was living at 384 Manchester Road in Blackrod. In 1901 she was living with her parents at 278 Atherton Road, Hindley. She married Ernest Westhead in 1906. In 1911 she was living at 18 Arundel Street, Hindley.
