Fanny Ainscough was born on 28th September 1903 in Horwich and was the daughter of George Ainscough (b.1870) and Mary Ellen Winward. In 1911 she was living at 49 New Brunswick Street in Horwich. She married Sydney Hattersley (b.1903) in September 1928. They had one daughter. Fanny died in Rochdale in 1991, aged 88.
