Family: Ainscough

Charles Ainscough was the son of William Ainscough (1816) and Fanny Holding. In 1851, he was living in Canal Row, Haigh. In 1861, he was working as a drawer in a coal mine and was living in Farm House in Blackrod. In 1871  he left Little Scotland where he was a coalminer and married Miriam O'Hara. In 1881, he was working as a coal miner and was living at 61 Scot Lane in Aspull. In 1891 he was was working as a coal miner and was living at 17 Holly Street, Aspull. In 1901, Charles was working as a labourer in a coal mine and was living at 1 Princess Street in Ince. In 1911 he was tenter at a colliery and living at 21 Turners Yard in Pemberton.
